Job Description

Health and Safety / Facilities Coordinator
25000 per annum
Monday-Friday 7:45 - 17:15 Mon - Thurs / 7:45 - 13:00 Fri

Main Purpose: to support the Health and Safety Manager in the development and implementation of Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
•Establish and promote best practice in HSE matters in conjunction with the Health & Safety Policies and Procedures
•Advise and support Managers and Supervisors to discharge their responsibilities for the Health & Safety of employees and others to whom they have a duty as defined by Legislation and Company Documentation
•Carry out regular inspections of the site to determine whether work is being carried out in accordance with Company policies, procedures and the relevant Statutory Provisions
•Carry out incident investigations in accordance with the Company Incident reporting procedure and, analysing all data, making recommendations to avoid any reoccurrences
•Assist site with Chemical Management Programme and COSHH Assessment review process and introduction of new chemical and development of new COSHH assessments where required

•To assist with the development and completion of the pre-use check sheet system for all site machinery, completing repairs or improvements where required
•Support the Health & Safety Manager with any audit programmes
