I am currently working with one of our leading Food Manufacturing clients. They currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our Finance team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger function from start to finish, including dealing with queries and preparing monthly payment runs.
This exciting opportunity will suit a self-motivated, experienced purchase ledger clerk that can manage their own workload, and help support the sales ledger function when required.
Day to day duties will include the following:
•Process invoices, reconcile delivery notes to received invoices and purchase orders
•Set up new supplier accounts, and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger
•Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
•Handle and resolve suppliers complaints
•Coding, batching and matching of invoices
•Assist with month end procedures
•Preparation of weekly payment run and rolling payments forecast
•Ensure invoices are correctly posted to the system
•Monthly purchase ledger control and listing
•Expenses and credit card administration
28 Days annual leave per annum, including bank holidays
