Transport Clerk

£8.50 per hour
Mon - Fri 6am - 2pm, 12pm - 10pm

Job Description

We are currently working with a transport and logistics company. They are looking for a Transport Clerk to join their busy office. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within an admin role with a focus on attention to detail and commitment to their job.

Day to Day duties will include the following:

  • General administration duties
  • Using Cirus software to track deliveries etc
  • Dealing with queries
  • Printing Barcodes/labels ready to be put on to the Pallets
  • Delivering an excellent customer service at all times
  • Chasing deliveries and tracking orders

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:

  • Previous experience within a similar role (Essential)
  • Experience within a transport industry is desirable but not essential
  • High level of accuracy (Essential)
  • Keyboard skills (Essential)
  • Strong telephone manner and confidence to speak with customers (Essential)
