Hours: 4 on/4 off (6pm-6am) - Nights

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Traffic Planner to work a 4 on/4 off on a night shift. This position requires an individual with previous transport/traffic planning experience and for the individual to take full responsibility for planning routes and scheduling delivery times to ensure the customers journey is first class:-

Duties on a day to day basis will include the following
•Ensuring that all tasks are carried out in a timely fashion with the ability to be largely unsupervised
•Planning loads, routes and deliveries to ensure all are completed in a timely fashion and dealing with priority loads
•Liaising with both internal and external bodies to ensure all problems are resolved to the customers satisfaction
•Collate and analyse data and shared with managers, directors etc
•Developing strong relationships with customers
•Ensuring compuertised system is maintained and always up to date
•Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate workloads
•Contacting drivers and arranging any agency cover required
As a person you will need the following experience & Qualities:
•CPC Holder (National & International)
•A good knowledge of current transport regulations
•Previous experience of working within a busy transport/traffic planning office
•Ability to work on own initiative, but also utilise others to sort problems
•Ability to work to tight deadlines (due to the nature of the business)
•Strong Computer skills and communication skills required.
•Good geographical knowledge required

FREIGHT FORWARDING OPERATOR - Exports - Multi-Modal (Air-Sea) - Export Customs Declarations Experience
20-25k A.A.E Basic Salary
We are seeking to recruit candidates who have experience of handling Airfreight and Seafreight shipments for Imports and Exports.
The role of FREIGHT FORWARDING OPERATOR will be to handle Airfreight and Seafreight shipments from start to finish. This includes:
• Taking enquiries
• Obtaining prices from shipping lines/airlines and NVOCC's
• Quoting customers and making bookings
• Raising and processing shipping documentation
• Arranging collections and deliveries
• Completing all freight administration and billing out files
• Speaking with Customers, Airlines, Shipping Lines and Hauliers
• Completing Export Customs Declarations Experience
This is working for a friendly and busy Freight Forwarding office.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a good level of experience minimum 5 years in International Freight Forwarding operations, of handling all aspects Shipping Documentation

An exciting opportunity has arisen at one of the most established and reputable food manufacturing companies in the UK for a Warehouse Manager who will be responsible for provide strong leadership and develop the logistics/ inventory/materials team/stock handling/value added processes to achieve both effective and efficient stock control management and on time supply to internal manufacturing facilities and site.

Duties on a day to day basis will include the following
•Maintain accurate inventory management of incoming materials and to drive material forecasting, planning & logistics in conjunction with the production management teams.
•Play a key Warehouse Manager role in supporting the implementation of MRP/Kanban in to the business
•Be responsible for stores management and Health and Safety processes to achieve and maintain the quality systems across the project
•Provide appropriate Material Performance Reporting at Project Reviews, Production Reviews utilising appropriate tools/reports
As a person you will need the following experience & Qualities:
•You'll be educated to degree/equivalent level in a supply chain discipline and have experience in a Warehouse Manager role within a food manufacturing / FMCG company.
•You'll have experience in leadership and management of a busy stores environment or similar discipline.
•You'll have proven skills and experience of manufacturing material control and supply logistics.
•You'll have strong communication, organisational, problem-solving skills, planning and analytical skills
