Our prestigous client based in Cheltenham is looking for a Legal Secretary for a fixed term contract of 8 months.

The successful candidate will provide support to a partner and fee earners, so must be well organised, be able to multi task and to manage changing priorities with a pro-active approach to their work. Experience working within professional services is essential.

As well as basic secretarial duties such as audio typing and taking telephone calls, you will be responsible for general administrative duties, including photocopying and file opening and closing using our case management system. You need to have strong organisational skills as well as excellent word processing skills and the ability to work to strict deadlines, preferably within a professional office environment

Salary in the region of 20,000 per annum, dependent upon experience

Our client based in Cheltenham have a temporary requird for a PA/Secretary. We are looking for somebody who is used to working within the environment of a Solicitors/Law firm.


The main duties of this role include:

to undertake all work of a secretarial nature as requested by fee earners including Typing, making and taking calls and photocopying
to undertake all work of an admin nature ad requested by the fee earner
to take and record accurately any messages and pass them on immediately
to make appointments and update the diary
to assist with file management
to ensure time recording of all work carried out by fee earners
to prepare and serve refreshments for appropriate visitors

The main responsibilities of this role include:

to use your initiative at all times
to ensure good working practice at all times
to carry out work to the highest possible standard
to ensure confidentiality and security for the firms documentation and information
to maintain clear and precise communications with other members of staff

The skills and experience required include

IT Literate especially MS OFFICE and ideally SOS
excellent telephone manner and experience of dealing with clients
Effective communication skills

Hours are Mon-Fri 0900-1700
Our client based in Kidderminster are looking for a Legal Secretary for maternity cover for 12 months. You will be based in Litigation department
