Our client based in Kidderminster are looking for a Legal Secretary for maternity cover for 12 months. You will be based in Litigation department

The main aspects of this role include:

to undertake all work of a secretarial nature as requested by fee earners including Typing, making and taking calls and photocopying
to undertake all work of an admin nature ad requested by the fee earner
to take and record accurately any messages and pass them on immediately
to make appointments and update the diary
to assist with file management
to ensure time recording of all work carried out by fee earners
to prepare and serve refreshments for appropriate visitors

to ensure good working practice at all times
to carry out work to the highest possible standard
to ensure confidentiality and security for the firms documentation and information
to maintain clear and precise communications with other members of staff

The skills and experience required include

Experience as a Legal Secretary ideally within a litigation team
Competent touch and audio typist
IT Literate especially MS OFFICE and ideally SOS
excellent telephone manner and experience of dealing with clients
Effective communication skills

Hours are Mon-Fri 0900-1700
